Truck Driver

Position Summary: This position will primarily consist of vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between all pick-up points and feed yards, farms, ranches and Company locations.

Duties And Responsibilites:

1. Operate company owned and leased trucks for the pick-up and delivery of designated products and materials.
2. Review shipper's documents to insure accuracy before accepting load.
3. Perform required before, during, and after-operation "user maintenance" to ensure that all operations are in compliance with State and Federal laws and regulations and provide required reports.
4. Provide outstanding customer service and represent the Company in a professional manner at all times.
5. Maintain all certifications and meet all medical and safety standards required by DOT, OSHA, and the State and company safety programs.
6. Take and pass drug and alchohol test.
7. Maintain and protect all entrusted property in excellent condition.
8. Perform any other tasks assinged to support and improve the overall team operations.
9. Operate in compliance with the STS Drivers manual.
10. Other related duties as may be assigned.

Education And Work Experience

A. Ability to operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner at all times.

B. Ability to make runs as required by shipping needs.

C. Valid Commercial Drivers License required.

D. Must have a good quality Motor Vehicle Report.

E. One or more year(s) experience as a truck driver.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

A. Requires prolonged sitting and driving.

B. Must be able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly.

C. must be able to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold.

D. Must be able to manually operate roll top on trailer and install/remove tire chains.
